Matching Gifts

With matching gifts you can double your donation!

Many companies, as well as State and Federal governments, offer their employees the opportunity to participate in payroll deductions to their favorite charities. If your company matches, you may be able to access the forms directly through your employer’s website. Follow the set procedure, and the Children's Dream Fund will be happy to assist contact:

Step One: Confirm that your employer is a matching gift company and will match your donation to the Children’s Dream Fund. To see if your employer is a matching gift company contact, your supervisor or the Human Resources Department.

Step Two: As the donor, make your donation either online at www.childrensdreamfund.org or mail to our P.O. Box and then complete your employer’s matching gift form. Most matching gift companies have either a paper or online matching gift process. Below are the instructions for the appropriate process.

Paper Matching Gifts Process: If your employer has a paper matching gift process, then you must obtain a matching gift form from your employer, complete the donor section, designate the Children’s Dream Fund as the recipient of the matching gift, and mail to:

Children’s Dream Fund
P.O. Box 1881
St. Petersburg, FL 33731-1881

Online Matching Gifts Process: If your employer has an online matching gift process then you must complete the matching gift process through your company’s website and designate Children’s Dream Fund as the recipient of the matching gift.

Please note, your employer may not have the Children’s Dream Fund listed as an organization in their matching gifts database unless another employee has already “nominated” the Children’s Dream Fund for a matching gift. By nominating Children’s Dream Fund as a matching gift recipient your employer will then create an organization record and other donors will be able to select Children’s Dream Fund as well.
