Announcing Our 2025 Dreammaker of the Year – Randy Ware of WestCMR!

ST. PETERSBURG, FL (January 6, 2025) – The Children’s Dream Fund is excited to announce its annual Dreammaker Luncheon, taking place on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Armature Works in Tampa, FL. This highly anticipated event, expected to welcome up to 400 guests, will celebrate Randy Ware of WestCMR as the 2025 Dreammaker of the Year.

Randy Ware and his company, WestCMR, have been steadfast supporters of the Children’s Dream Fund since 2009. During his seven years on the organization’s board, Randy and his team have helped make countless dreams come true for children facing life-threatening illnesses. This year’s luncheon aims to raise essential funds to fulfill dreams for the 170 local children currently awaiting their dream-come-true in 2025.

The event kicks off with a social hour, offering attendees an opportunity to network and learn more about the organization’s mission. Following a delicious lunch, guests will hear inspiring stories from families whose lives have been transformed by a fulfilled dream. The highlight of the afternoon will be the paddle raise, where attendees can directly contribute to bringing future dreams to life.

Since its founding in 1981, the St. Petersburg-based nonprofit has fulfilled over 4,000 dreams for children across West Central Florida battling life-threatening illnesses. With over 170 children currently awaiting their dream-come-true, the Children’s Dream Fund relies on community support through events like the Dreammaker Luncheon to provide hope and joy to these children and their families.

The Children’s Dream Fund is one of the oldest and most active independent wish-granting organizations in the United States. Serving children ages 3–21, the organization remains committed to making dreams a reality and creating lasting memories for those who need them most.
