Give Day Tampa Bay & The Giving Challenge

It’s #GiveDayTB18 and #GivingChallenge18 time again! This year, we are fortunate enough to have two ways to give, all for one reason to donate…Marcus’ dream come true!
Give Day Tampa Bay is taking place on May 1st from 12am – 12am. The Giving Challenge is taking place at noon on May 1st to noon on May 2nd. All donations given throughout these times will help make Marcus’ “Ghostbuster’s Experience” dream come true! You can make a donation by clicking here or visiting the Give Day & Giving Challenge websites below. Wherever you donate, we will make Marcus’ dream come true with your gift.
Marcus, a vibrant five year old, was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma last June. Like a lot of boys getting ready to turn six, Marcus has a love for all things “Ghostbusters,” and firemen! He even wears his proton pack everywhere he goes! With your help, we’ll be sending Marcus to New York City to have a Ghostbusters experience, including a visit to the actual firehouse where Ghostbusters was filmed! On his dream Marcus will be sworn in by the New York City Fire Department as an Honorary Fireman for the Day, eat lunch at the fire station, visit Madame Tussaud’s for the Ghostbuster’s experience, and so much more!
Marcus’ Ghostbuster’s dream-come-true will be made possible by the 2018 donors of Give Day and Giving Challenge!
Give Day Tampa Bay, the 24-hour online giving challenge, is an opportunity to “Give Where You Live,” learn more about the hundreds of nonprofits in the Tampa Bay community, and support causes you care about.
