Raef’s dream came true when he traveled to England to attend the Manchester City fixture (game) with his family!

13-year-old Raef was diagnosed with ALL three years ago and was devastated to learn that his soccer career had to be put on hold. After regularly following and watching Manchester City throughout his treatment, he was determined and inspired to get back out on the field!

Raef and his family went on a tour of Etihad stadium, which included a tour of field and the locker room where he saw and got to hold up Grealish’s kit (jersey), his favorite player. Raef was also personally invited to the Blue Carpet Experience prior to the fixture, where he was able to high-five some of his favorite players as they headed into the stadium.
