Official Ribbon-Cutting at the Children’s Dream Fund!
After 12 years as guests of the owners of a high rise office building in downtown St. Petersburg, we’ve moved!
In conjunction with the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce, we officially opened our office, located at 1600 23rd Avenue North, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 27th. Special guests included St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman and dream recipient Ryder Karppe, who cut the ribbon along with our Executive Director, Cynthia Lake Farrell.
Our new office is a charming 1920’s home bordering the Woodlawn neighborhood. Our new landlord, Rhett Stevens, has been so gracious and has gone to great lengths to provide a special home for the Dream Fund. We now have dedicated space for our unique day-to-day activities, including a dream workshop to create the gift baskets and bags presented to children when they receive their dream-come-true, as well as a living room to host our clients and visitors in a comfortable atmosphere. We’re so grateful to have such a lovely and welcoming place to make dreams come true!
